The Best & Easiest Dutch Baby Pancake Recipe

Making a Dutch Baby pancakes is so simple, you will definitely wonder why you haven't tried to impress your breakfast guests, your hunny, or even yourself till now! I know the first time I made a dutch baby I was amazed. I impressed myself, that's for sure, and not just because of how simple it was! Make sure you give this Dutch Baby a try!!



1 Cup milk

1/2 Cup flour

3 Eggs

2 Tbsp Sugar

1 Tbsp vanilla

A Pinch Of Salt

3-4 Tbsp Butter (clarified if possible)



This is a very easy and fun recipe. we start by preheating the oven to 425 F.

Now, add 3 eggs to a blender, followed by 2 tbsp of Sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, and 1 cup of milk. Pour in 1-2 tbsp of vanilla paste or extract (I like to lean towards 2 tbsps). Vanilla is one of those things that you can afford to be generous with.

Cover and blend on high for 10-15 seconds. The cover is key. I have absolutely blended with a loose lid before.

Also, note that this recipe works best when you are using room temperature ingredients. So things like your eggs and milk can sit on the counter for a while before you start.

Once the batter is blended, place it aside while we heat up our cast-iron pan on a burner. Set your burner to medium-high heat and leave it until warms up, about 2 minutes. Toss in your butter. Melting butter just smells so good so don't lose yourself in the smell, pay attention, and once it's melted and hot, pour in your pancake batter.

Then, right away, go ahead and place the pan into your 450 F oven for 18-20 minutes or until your pancake is puffed up and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and top with some fresh raspberries and blueberries or any fruit that you like. Now dust the whole pancake with powdered sugar and wonder in awe at the most beautiful breakfast item you ever made.
